The famous Palace Theatre in London’s West Home is currently home to the award-winning play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The theatre first opened its doors to the public in 1891 and, today, it seats 1,400 people.
Integral was chosen for this project by Nimax Theatres Ltd. We have worked with the company on other theatre projects, including the Garrick Theatre on Charing Cross Road.
The project involved the removal of asbestos insulation residue from walls, pipes and floor surfaces within the main boiler room. We had to carry out the work while the building remained in full operation. As a result, we began shifts at 11pm each night and ended them at 6am. This allowed each day’s performance to take place.
